Me Roland Vaillancourt is the founding partner of Vaillancourt & Vaillancourt, notaires et conseillers juridiques, a family notarial firm established in Laval in 1954. A 1964 graduate of the Université de Montréal Faculty of Law and a recipient of the Lieutenant Governor's Medal, he taught secured transactions law and title examination at the Université de Montréal for over 50 years and served on the Chambre des notaires du Québec board for 12 years. He received the Chambre's Prix d'excellence in 2003.
